What the Benefit Scan does
The Benefit Scan takes three things you already know about your own record — your state of residence, your service status (active duty, veteran, National Guard, Reserve, or family member), and, if you have one, your VA disability rating — and checks them against our catalog of verified state and federal benefit programs. It doesn't ask you to fill out a claim form or wait on a call center. It runs a facet match: state matches state, status matches status, rating clears the program's minimum, and if all three line up, the program shows up as "may apply."
What sets it apart from a generic benefits list is that every single row in the catalog carries an official source URL, a last-verified date, and a confidence score, so you can see exactly where a claim came from and how recently we checked it — not a vague "military discount available" with nothing behind it. Most programs also carry an estimated value, so you know roughly what a match is worth before you go confirm it with the agency that runs it. The scan itself takes about ten seconds once your profile is set up, and it re-runs any time you come back, so newly added programs in your state show up automatically.

No. It's a filtered directory, not an eligibility ruling. A program showing as "may apply" means your profile (state, service status, and optional VA disability rating) matches the basic criteria we could verify from the program's official source. Many programs carry extra requirements — income limits, service era, discharge status — that only the administering agency can confirm.
Where does the data come from?
Every program in the catalog is sourced from an official state, federal, or administering-agency page — most from state veterans-affairs departments and MyArmyBenefits fact sheets — and carries a source name, a source URL, and a last-verified date on the card itself.
Is it free?
Yes, always. Military Benefits Club doesn't charge for the Benefit Scan or any directory listing.
Do you sell my info?
